The Heart Show - Tribeca Salon - Tampa, FL

Thank you for attending...

Hair + Art = Heart

THE HEART SHOW 2008 was an amazing success, with proceeds for the Scholarship reaching over $9500! The event was rich with diversity from the types of entertainment to the crowd itself. Starting off with the student hair design competition, nearly 30 entrants in the Classic Contemporary and Avant Garde categories fought for the coveted prizes. Each prize had a value of at least $400. Female Impersonators Felicity Lane and Amy DeMilo provided entertainment before the salsa dancers from Azucar took over.

The Artistic Team from Tribeca took over the stage and created hair art as we showed the huge crowd the tricks of the trade. The dance sequences that followed included every style from belly dance to tribal to ending with Enigma Dance Kru's unique style.

Marina Williams, Aleka Phoenix and Sparks were the featured designers. Our live bands included Bronze, D'visitors and Velveteen Pink.

Video by PinkySwear Productions will be available in a few months. See you next year!

JARSS(James Anthony Ray Sadler Scholarship)

James Sadler was a well established stylist working at Tribeca up until his untimely death at the early age of 37. He was loved by many, and inspired people to be their best at everything. To honor his memory we have established the JARSS Fund, administered by the Hillsborough Educational Fund. The fund is an endowment that we hope to quickly establish to send a local high school graduate to cosmetology school. Any donations are taxfree, and we are in desperate need of major donors to reach our goals. Any donations can be made out to the Hillsborough Educational Fund in the name of James Anthony Ray Sadler Scholarship.
