Our stylists have undergone the necessary extended education programs to correctly handle hair for various ethnicities. Our training focuses on texture of hair for cutting, styling and smoothing services. Our focus with smoothing services range from subtle defrizzing options to complete relaxers.

At Tribeca Salons we are proud to use Mizani products. Our forte with ethnic hair is coloring. Regarding the natural texture and also chemical damage that comes from relaxers we will consult with you and provide you with excellent damage free color options.  Our core relaxer and smoothing product line, Super Silk, does not use formaldehyde in its formula, a noxious chemical that is in almost all other smoothing and relaxing treatments. Super Silk uses a revolutionary new formula with derivatives of natural silk that give you the absolute best results available on the market for these sorts of hair treatments.

In addition to the hair services performed for you in our salon, we will also will provide you with an action plan to take care of your hair at home using carefully selected products for maintaining your new look, protecting your hair when heat treating it, and best practices for cleansing your hair at home. Finally we will provide you with a suggested maintenance schedule for in-salon upkeep tailored specifically to your personal hair’s needs.
