A New Year

A New Year

I went to bed last night upset about how I did not celebrate the end of the Mayan calendar. I am a huge Meso American history buff and I have been waiting for 12/21/12 with anticipation. But last night it came and went without much to do. So I apologize to Quetzalacoatl and other dieties for not celebrating.

So it is officially winter 2012 and what are you going to do with your hair? Will it be same as it ever was? Literally a new age is upon us and we lived beyond the apocalypse, so why not take a risk?

For our clients sporting mid back length hair, I challenge you to cut it off! If you are a card carrying pilates/yoga body, you have the tight curves and slender face you need to work a short cut. You know you love Anne Hathaway’s new crop, and even Miley Cyrus’s blonde maxi pixie is hot to you. Do not be afraid to experiment with a new length. You know it will grow back healthier! And for those of you that always say”I had my hair short when I was a teenager and hated it” well we all had some pretty lame hair back then, and I am quite sure you have outgrown those awkward years.

So we survived the apocalypse. It’s time for your new age haircut. But please don’t ask for the Tina Turner Beyond Thunderdome do. We don’t need another hero!
